Stationed at the front desk, you will assist guests, monitor access, respond to security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a cultural institution.
Monitor access to the location by verifying identification, signing in guests, and maintaining visitor logs as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
Communicate professionally with visitors and staff, addressing inquiries and providing directions or information as needed.
Assist with emergency response activities in accordance with site-specific protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns to management and/or law enforcement as directed.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while stationed at the front desk.
