Job Description As a Security Officer - Cultural Institution Patrol in Front Royal, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a renowned cultural institution, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will interact with guests and staff, providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, helping to deter inappropriate or suspicious activity.
Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards within the location.
Assist visitors and staff by providing directions and general information as needed.
Collaborate with Allied Universal management and local authorities as required during incidents or emergencies.
Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
