As a Security Officer Credential Verification in Waverly, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage visitor entry, verify credentials, issue badges, and monitor access points to help maintain a secure environment. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor and control access to industrial facility entrances, gates, and restricted areas by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor activity, and issuing access badges as directed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site personnel and Allied Universal leadership when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of facility grounds, loading areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and support site procedures.
  • Maintain accurate logs, reports, and records related to access activity, incidents, deliveries, and other security-related matters.
