About The Position

As a Security Officer Credential Verification in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control professional at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, helping manage site entry, monitor activity, and support a secure environment through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, care, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, production spaces, and/or controlled work zones.
  • Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle logs, issue access badges or credentials as assigned, and communicate entry requirements in a professional manner.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns, unusual activity, and/or policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random inspections of access control points, gates, lobbies, and/or perimeter entry areas, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
