As a Security Officer Driver Credential Validation in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor security-related activity, and provide outstanding customer service. You will maintain a professional presence, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and help support a welcoming environment. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor and manage access control points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue temporary access credentials, and maintain accurate entry records in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the technology and telecommunications location, including entry points, restricted areas, and perimeter areas, to identify and report unusual conditions or access concerns.
