About The Position

As a Security Officer Credential Issuance in Ontario, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a retail distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and help address security-related concerns with integrity and teamwork. This is a driving position, requiring a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, delivery drivers, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency-response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points at a retail distribution location, verifying credentials, visitor registrations, delivery appointments, and vehicle access in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain accurate logs and records for visitors, contractors, deliveries, trailers, and other access-related activity; issue and recover badges, keys, and other authorized access items as directed.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, parking areas, loading docks, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
