Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, screening entry requests, and supporting security-related protocols at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor access points, check credentials and/or visitor authorizations, maintain accurate logs, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
  • Communicate with staff, delivery personnel, and guests regarding entry requirements, restricted areas, and location rules while supporting orderly movement throughout the site.
