About The Position

As a Security Officer - CRE Reception Desk in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will welcome tenants and guests, manage access control and visitor logs, and respond to questions with outstanding customer service. You will monitor building activity using on-site systems, document incidents, and communicate clearly with property staff and emergency responders as needed. Requirements

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff at the front desk by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and access control requirements.
  • Greet and screen visitors, issue visitor credentials as directed, maintain visitor logs, and direct guests to appropriate destinations within the property.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems from the desk, and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns to property management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities when appropriate and documenting actions taken.
  • Answer phones, manage deliveries and service vendor check-ins, and complete required reports and shift handoffs in accordance with site requirements.
