About The Position

As a Security Officer - CRE Reception Desk in Burbank, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a busy commercial real estate location, you will welcome tenants and guests, manage access control and visitor logs, and support badge issuance and key control. You will monitor cameras and alarm activity, document incidents, and communicate clearly with property staff and responders. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at the front desk by following site-specific access control procedures, visitor registration requirements, and building policies.
  • Monitor lobby activity, building entry points, and/or security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, or access control in accordance with post orders, and report irregular activity to management and/or the appropriate responders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including dispatching notifications, documenting details, and assisting with emergency response activities as directed.
  • Answer phones, process inquiries, and coordinate with property management regarding deliveries, service calls, work orders, and/or after-hours access requests in a professional manner.
  • Complete detailed, accurate, and timely security-related reports, logs, and shift handoffs, including visitor activity, key control, and incident documentation.
