As a Security Officer CPO Unarmed Patrol in Colorado Springs, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. Requirements

• CPO is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
• A valid Firearms Permit is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, clergy, and congregants by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of worship spaces, offices, common areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in a courteous, professional manner while helping to maintain an orderly and welcoming environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Document and communicate security-related incidents, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
