About The Position

Join Allied Universal at a leading healthcare location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will bring reliability, integrity, and teamwork to each shift while helping create a welcoming environment through attentive presence and routine patrols.

Requirements

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general assistance, and help to support a professional and welcoming environment.
  • Document incidents, daily activities, and unusual conditions, and communicate with Allied Universal leadership and/or location contacts regarding security-related matters.
