Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support residents and guests with exceptional service and communication. In this role, you will contribute to a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and a caring approach while responding to routine concerns with professionalism and reliability.

Requirements

  • Have at least 1+ years of law enforcement experience OR 2+ years of security-related supervisor/manager experience OR 3+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21+ years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Guard card is required.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Have customer service experience preferred.
  • Have CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential common areas, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
  • Monitor access to the property by observing arrivals and departures, verifying authorization when required, and reporting suspicious or unauthorized activity to help support community rules and property protocols.
  • Document daily activities, incidents, and/or maintenance-related concerns, and provide clear written reports to help support follow-up and continuity of service.
