About The Position

Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a Corporate Site in Cambridge MA. Monday - Friday 3 PM - 8 PM. Starting Pay is $23.00 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training. Candidate Must be 21+ years Old and Must Have 1+ Years of Previous Security Experience. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ Years of Previous Security Experience
• Must be 21+ years Old

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and document visitor, contractor, and/or delivery activity in accordance with post instructions.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and/or daily activities, and support requested security-related duties based on the needs of the location.
