About The Position
As a Security Officer Corporate Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, observe and report concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements
- Have at least six months of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and guests by following security-related procedures, access protocols, and site-specific policies at a technology and media location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations.
- Monitor access points and report unauthorized entry attempts, unusual activity, and security-related concerns according to established procedures.
- Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations through clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal and client personnel.
