About The Position

Allied Universal is currently hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a Corporate Site in Boston, MA. This role involves serving and safeguarding clients in various industries, including Tech/Media/Telecom. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this unarmed patrol role, you will support daily operations through teamwork, professionalism, and integrity while bringing an agile, reliable, and innovative approach that puts people first.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, or telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols, helping to support authorized entry and reporting suspicious behavior or policy concerns.
• Assist with incident reporting, daily activity logs, and/or other assigned security-related duties, while maintaining professionalism and strong awareness in a fast-paced business environment.
