About The Position

As a Security Officer Corporate Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Allied Universal Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology and media location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, communicate observations, and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

• Have at least six months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while carrying out security-related procedures, access control protocols, and site-specific policies at a technology and media location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of offices, common areas, entrances, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor employee, visitor, and vendor access and/or activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Document patrol findings, incidents, and security-related concerns through clear and accurate reports, and assist with emergency response activities when appropriate.
