As a Security Officer - Corporate Patrol in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic utilities location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Guard card is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access activities, and emergency response support at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards, maintenance issues, and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or authorizations as directed by site policies, and support traffic, vehicle, and pedestrian control at designated posts.
• Complete required reports, logs, and incident documentation, and communicate clearly with site personnel, first responders, and/or Allied Universal teams regarding security-related matters.
