As a Security Officer - Construction Coverage in Mesa, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
A current Guard Card or license is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency services when needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas within a fast-paced technology-focused location, assisting with visitor processing, badge verification, and reporting of policy violations.
Support day-to-day operations by completing incident reports, maintaining awareness of site conditions, and following Allied Universal standards along with client-directed protocols.
