About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Concierge Security Officer to join their team. This role emphasizes building meaningful connections and engaging with people on all shifts in various environments such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. The ideal candidate will have a natural ability to engage with others, reassure them, and inspire confidence, with a strong focus on customer service.

Requirements

Security Experience required (6+ months)
Be authorized to work in the U.S.
Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
Must have valid driver's license (No restriction B) with clean driving record
Must be of the age of 21 or older
Must have exceptional customer service skills
Proficient in computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
You have a state security license

Responsibilities

Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
Multiple access check points (Interior/Exterior)
Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks (Foot Patrols)
Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
Answer questions in person or by phone
Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
Accurately verify identification and documentation
Model strong interpersonal skills to interact with employees, visitors and contractors
Create badges using badge management systems and intermediate computer applications
