Requirements

1+ years of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed conditions to property management and/or local emergency services when needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and/or amenity areas in accordance with community rules and post orders, while documenting incidents, maintenance concerns, and unusual activity.
Support residential operations by assisting with after-hours calls, checking doors and gates, and communicating professionally with residents and staff regarding security-related matters.
