As a Security Officer - Community Rover in Mesa, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Security Officer for a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to residents and visitors. Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Handcuffing certification is preferred.
  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, community policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random vehicle and/or foot patrols throughout residential streets, common areas, amenities, access points, and the community perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and vendor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Prepare clear and accurate reports documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities.
