Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support site operations through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entry points, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and help to verify credentials for employees, visitors, and/or delivery personnel while following site-specific post orders and visitor management procedures.
• Support shipping and receiving operations by observing movement of people, vehicles, and/or packages, and reporting concerns related to security-related procedures, damaged property, or restricted area access.
