About The Position

As a Security Officer - Community Patrol Driver in Caledonia, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will deliver strong customer service and clear communication, document observations, and escalate concerns as needed. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under Allied Universal driver policy requirements, supported by teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or public response resources as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of offices, common areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazardous conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow, verify credentials as required, and document entries, exits, and deliveries according to site requirements.
• Complete timely security-related reports and logs, communicate observations and concerns to site leadership, and support investigations by preserving notes and relevant details.
