Requirements

  • Have at least two years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to transit passengers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor and coordinate communications from transit locations, field personnel, and emergency responders; receive, document, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing timely notifications to appropriate personnel and public agencies.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, radio communications, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures.
  • Monitor available alarm, camera, and communication systems to identify potential concerns and coordinate response resources as directed.
