As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. Your visible presence and strong communication skills will provide exceptional customer service to tenants and visitors. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
This is primarily a driving post.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to clients, tenants, and visitors.
Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.
