Job Description As a Security Officer - Commercial Property Patrol in Brooklyn , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, interacting positively with tenants and visitors, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns within the location.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and patrols as required by site procedures.
- Assist with access control, visitor management, and other security-related tasks as assigned by site leadership.
