As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with people throughout the property, and deliver exceptional customer service. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for driving as part of your patrol duties. Join a team that values integrity, reliability, and putting people first.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
CPR certification is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to maintain order at the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other areas within the commercial real estate location to observe and report any suspicious activity.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or any unusual circumstances according to Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
Assist with access control and visitor management as required by site-specific procedures.
