As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor access points and patrol assigned areas to help identify security-related concerns, support badge and visitor processes, and provide clear, professional communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, offering a visible role where you can deliver service with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach in a fast-moving environment.

Requirements

• Candidates must have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security experience.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Applicants must be 21 or more years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and communicating updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, hangars, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
• Monitor and control entry points by verifying credentials and/or visitor authorization, directing guests to appropriate check-in locations, and reporting suspicious behavior.
• Complete routine security-related reports such as daily activity logs, incident reports, and patrol observations, using required systems and following post orders.
