About The Position

As a Security Officer - Commercial Patrol Driver in Tucson, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to calls for service with clear communication and outstanding customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license. You will bring agile, reliable, innovative thinking while acting with integrity and supporting a people-first, team-focused culture.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by following site-specific procedures and security-related protocols, and/or assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying property management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of building common areas, corridors, stairwells, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or access issues.
• Control access points by monitoring entries and exits, checking credentials when required, and directing visitors and vendors according to site procedures.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident reports, communicate observations to the next shift and/or site leadership, and support tenant and property operations with security-related assistance as requested.
