As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and assist visitors with professionalism and clear communication. You will use computer or tablet-based tools as needed while delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and retail patrons by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of retail common areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and the property perimeter to help identify unusual activity and potential security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with established property protocols.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
