Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe campus activity to help to deter unauthorized entry, report concerns, and/or support staff, students, and visitors as needed.
• Complete routine reports and communicate relevant information about incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to supervisors and appropriate site contacts.
