About The Position

As a Security Officer Clinical Patrol Specialist in Plantation, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Required hospital vaccines must be obtained.
• Must be willing to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when required.
• A minimum of 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or first responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols, while supporting a professional environment for patients, visitors, and personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and routine activities in required reports, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, site personnel, and/or local authorities when needed.
