About The Position

As a Security Officer Clinical Escort Driver in Hermitage, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Healthcare Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol hospital areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. You may support sensitive areas and assist with behavioral incidents in accordance with site procedures. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Vaccinations are required for hospital assignments.
• Must be willing to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Must be willing to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report security-related concerns or unusual activity.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access as directed, and providing directions or assistance to patients and visitors.
• Document incidents, observations, and actions taken in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.
