About The Position

As a Security Officer Hospital Morgue Transport Driver in Smyrna, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Healthcare Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol hospital areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. This driving position includes supporting specialized hospital operations, responding to security-related concerns, and communicating clearly during sensitive situations. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Required hospital vaccinations must be maintained.
  • Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility, surrounding grounds, and perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points, visitor activity, and restricted areas in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Document incidents, observations, and shift activities accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
