Requirements

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response actions appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, production areas, and perimeter points within a defense-related location, noting unusual activity and/or conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted or controlled areas.
  • Support daily operations by communicating with employees, visitors, and contractors, following post orders, and assisting with security-related requests as needed.
