Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, manage access control, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, restricted areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and reporting unauthorized access attempts in accordance with site-specific policies.
  • Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports, communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts, and support access-control and emergency-response protocols.
