Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will support daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and a reliable, agile approach while helping create a welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and staff.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and/or emergency response activities within a commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout building interiors, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance, lighting, and other property-related issues.
  • Monitor entry points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and support lobby, loading dock, and after-hours access procedures in accordance with property guidelines.
  • Communicate with tenants, guests, property management, and first responders as needed while following post orders and helping to support an orderly environment across the location.
