About The Position

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech and telecom location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Support daily operations by completing incident reports, maintaining post logs, and providing clear directions and assistance to people on site while following client-specific expectations.
