Requirements

  • Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures, managing front desk activity, and supporting security-related protocols at the location.
  • Monitor access to the lobby and reception area, verify identification and/or visitor credentials, issue badges as directed, and help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Answer phones, greet guests, maintain visitor logs, and communicate clearly with site contacts regarding arrivals, deliveries, and/or access questions.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including notifying designated personnel, documenting events, and assisting with front desk communications during operational disruptions.
