As an Unarmed Patrol Professional at a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A Guard Card/License is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, access points, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed by site-specific policies, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and incident documentation.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as required.
  • Communicate clearly with site personnel, visitors, Allied Universal leadership, and public service agencies while supporting a professional and orderly work environment.
