As a Security Officer Clearance Required Patrol Driver in Minneapolis, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
  • Communicate clearly with site personnel, supervisors, and emergency responders while supporting security-related operations.
