About The Position

As a Security Officer Clearance Required Front Desk in North Charleston, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

  • Possess an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
  • Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a law enforcement officer license.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, greet visitors, verify identification and/or access credentials, and direct guests, employees, and vendors in accordance with site protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or emergency responders when needed.
  • Support access control operations by documenting visitor entries, issuing temporary badges or passes, and maintaining accurate front desk logs and reports.
  • Observe front desk and nearby entry areas for unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent presence, attention to detail, and professional communication.
