Requirements

  • Possess an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
  • Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a current Law Enforcement Officer License.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities for a technology-focused location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception areas, verify visitor access, issue badges or credentials as directed, and help to deter unauthorized entry through attentive presence and follow-up.
  • Answer phones, greet employees, guests, and/or vendors, and support sign-in processes, visitor logs, and other front desk documentation in a professional manner.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership when needed.
  • Support day-to-day front desk operations by communicating clearly with staff and visitors, observing activity in assigned areas, and reporting unusual behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
