Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a high-profile aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting them through appropriate channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and verify entry authorization in accordance with site protocols, while assisting with visitor direction and other security-related support functions.
  • Communicate with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, policy questions, and changing conditions that may affect daily operations.
