About The Position

As a Security Officer - Class A Front Desk in Burbank, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for tenants and visitors, supporting a welcoming lobby experience while handling access control, visitor management, and security-related communication. You will monitor activity, respond to requests, and document incidents with professionalism. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, employees, contractors, and visitors at the front desk by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and security-related procedures.
  • Control access to the property by verifying identification, issuing visitor passes, managing keys and/or access credentials, and directing guests to appropriate locations.
  • Monitor building systems such as lobby cameras, alarms, and visitor management tools, and report unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns per site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site contacts and/or emergency services when required.
  • Complete shift logs and required documentation, communicate handoff information to oncoming personnel, and assist with administrative tasks such as tenant requests and delivery coordination.
