Job Description As a Security Officer - Chemical Plant Patrol in El Paso, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. This driving post involves conducting routine patrols, staying visible, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, including chemical and petrochemical areas, to help to deter unauthorized activities.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and actions taken during patrols and/or emergency responses according to Allied Universal protocols.
Assist in implementing security-related procedures specific to chemical and petrochemical environments, including hazard awareness and emergency preparedness.
Collaborate with site personnel and first responders as needed during incidents and/or emergencies.
