As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical or petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role includes conducting routine patrols and providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, while responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the chemical and petrochemical location, including both internal areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor for unusual activity or conditions that may require further attention or escalation according to site protocols.
Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding incidents, observations, and any security-related matters.
Complete required logs, reports, and documentation related to patrols, incidents, and daily activities in a timely and accurate manner.
Support access control procedures by observing and reporting on persons entering or exiting the location, in accordance with site guidelines.
