As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a chemical and petrochemical location, helping to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. Requirements

A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of personnel and vehicles at the location, following site-specific procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for irregularities.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with site-related inquiries and access procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Maintain detailed logs and reports of access control activities and incidents as required by site policy.
Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site contacts regarding security-related matters and incidents.
Support emergency response activities as directed, including following evacuation or containment procedures if necessary.
