As an Access Control Officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. Your presence and communication skills will contribute to a secure environment while delivering exceptional customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
At least two years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
Assist visitors, contractors, and employees by providing information and guidance related to site-specific policies and procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and observe for any unusual activity.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and security-related occurrences.
Support emergency response activities as appropriate, following established procedures for chemical and petrochemical environments.
Communicate and collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and operational needs.
