As a Security Officer - Chemical Access Point in Point Comfort, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points and conducting routine patrols within a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location. You will remain visible, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with visitors and staff. Requirements

A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location by verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to access control in a chemical and petrochemical environment.
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and contractors by addressing questions and assisting with site entry procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any irregularities.
Maintain accurate logs and documentation of all access control activities and incidents.
Support emergency response activities as required by site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
